Description
Day ShiftProvides professional level Human Resources support in some or all of the following areas: employee relations, training, employment, policy and practices, performance management, worker’s compensation, and total rewardsBegin
Assist in the development of Human Resources programs and solutions
Develop and maintain all Human Resources Standard Operations Procedures
Recommend courses of action, and support the implementation of all Human Resources processes
Partners with client department leadership and the Human Resources department in developing strategies to drive and deliver various human resources initiatives which support the internal client department operations and services
Enhance performance improvement by evaluating and identifying problems and implementing resolutions
Coach and counsel managers and employees on Human Resources policy and procedure
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends
Assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures and employee engagement programs
Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems
Assist in the coordination of the performance management program
Participate in new employee orientations and assist with any other training/development programs
Completes special projects by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; delivering results
Responds to unemployment claims and appeals in a timely manner and collects and coordinates responses for EEOC and MCHR claims
Provides guidance, support, and coaching to employees and managers for day-to-day employee relations questions on Human Resources policy and procedure and exit interviewing
Participate in organization-wide and HR team initiatives including committee participation in special events, projects, councils, and committees
Recommend innovative approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
Conducts talent assessment and workforce supply and demand, evaluate new roles, replacement, recruitment and retention strategies and succession planning
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations by demonstrating thorough knowledge and comprehension of new and existing legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions to remain current
Provides customer service related to all FMLA, ADA and Disability and Retirement Plan issues, payroll, personal information changes and forms
Oversees the maintenance and retention of internal employee files and contact lists
Participate in Employee Satisfaction survey administration, evaluation and improvements
Collaborate and coordinates with all departments on creating and updating Talent Summaries
Is a champion of the Patient Experience at levels of the organization
Perform other duties as assigned by Human Resources Leadership
Become
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field
Minimum of two years in Human Resources Generalist or equivalent role
Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations is preferred
Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff
Ability to research and analyze various different types of data information
Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law
Ability to organize and prioritize work
