Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.
Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams. Solicit & incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or Instructional Design. Four years adult education experience (as teacher or curriculum developer). Seven years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software. Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of XML, Java, and J2EE technologies. Experience with Oracle9i Database administration. Knowledge of Oracle9i Application server.

This job is to define strategic direction for the education offerings of Oracle HCM Cloud products. OU offers a unique offering for HCM Cloud called Oracle Guided Learning. This product allows customer to provide guidance, training, policy and business processes in the flow of work. This solution drives the adoption of HCM Cloud and reduces customer helpdesk SRs and business transaction issues.

Your job is to define and build product to help customers in every phase of cloud implementation and adoption.
The product manager will interface with different teams at Oracle including Product development for the product future direction, Curriculum teams for learning content, sales and delivery teams to drive the solutions and customers to understand their need and pain points.
This is a strategic position and it requires you to easily understand customer issues, product direction and be able to translate this in a solution which can benefit all the customers. You will work on defining the content plans, learning product directions, position the solution to internal and external customers.
Handson experience with HCM Cloud implementation
Clear understanding of customer HCM cloud implementation and adoption process and challenges
Experience working in the HCM functional area
Ability to work in cross functional teams across different timezones
Ability to understand complex issues and present the solution is a simplified way
Excellent communication skills
