Centene Corporation Vice President, Learning and Development in Clayton, Missouri
Directs the strategic planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and administration of all organizational development and training programs in order to meet the organizations objectives and competitive position in the marketplace.
Conduct comprehensive training needs analysis related to potential mergers and acquisitions, make recommendations and lead the implementation as it relates to training.
Based on a comprehensive needs assessment and in concert with the Company's strategic plans, build and administer a universal training curriculum and employ technologies to ensure achievement of the Company's long-term goals, enhance training development, efficiencies, standardization and reduce training costs.
Select vendors and/or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and resolve identified issues or concerns.
Resolve training concerns or performance situations in conjunction with management staff during and after training in a qualitative and efficient manner.
Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred. 15+ years of experience in Organizational Development, Training and/or Human Resources. Previous experience managing staff, including hiring, training, managing workload and performance.
