Numotion Instructional Designer in Hazelwood, Missouri
This role, under limited supervision, will be responsible for producing performance-based, interactive learning experiences that will meet the business needs of the departments and the overall organization so they can effectively meet the needs of our valued customers as it pertains to our Venu Order Processing System. This is a highly collaborative team environment and uses proven instructional design methodologies to analyze learning needs, design and develop content, define measurement strategies and assess the effectiveness for all projects centered on the Venu system.
Collaborates with subject matter experts throughout the organization to analyze needs, develop appropriate learning objectives, and gather, manage and maintain information.
Establishes a process and schedule for regular audits of learning programs to:
evaluate overall alignment with department and organization business objectives
ensure that information is up-to-date
Selects and recommends appropriate media and delivery methods for content
Manages learning programs of varying scales from discovery through evaluation within specific timeframes
Ensures department quality standards and appropriate implementation of content.
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, education-related field, or equivalent work experience
2 – 4 years in an instructional design/development position preferred
Knowledge of adult learning principles required
Strong knowledge of key instructional design concepts and practices
Strong written and oral communication skills – demonstrated ability to produce clearly written learning materials and articulate key concepts in a clear and condensed manner
Must be proficient in MS Office products
Working knowledge of current development tools and trends preferred
Expert level knowledge of Venu
Expert level knowledge of the Numotion Order Process and the roles that interact
Expert level facilitation skills
