We Need Someone Like You

As a Human Resources Partner for USE Innovations, you will wake up every morning with the ability to contribute toward the the company's people strategies as well as implementation of enterprise-wide HR programs, including team member relations, total rewards, recruitment and talent development. Your strong partnership approach will make team members want to work with you again and enhance their experience with the company as a whole.

Your Typical Day Might Look Like This

  • You will establish strategic partnerships with regional business unit leaders to deliver HR programs that align to operational objectives and optimize talent.

  • You will understand the business needs and identify opportunities to enhance the team member experience and engagement.

  • You will be considered the “go to” advisor for regional team member related questions, including policies, systems, benefits, compensation, leaves of absence, etc.

  • You will actively coach and develop leadership team members, managers, and individuals.

  • You will partner with HR colleagues who lead Recruiting, Talent Development and HR Operations to facilitate the execution of such programs within the region.

  • You will ensure team member and leadership needs are met and a culture of high performance is cultivated across all teams.

  • You will be a conduit for the delivery of learning and development programs

  • You will utilize HR metrics and data to assess the effectiveness of people strategies and practices and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • You will lead or assist with regional community outreach projects, especially those that align to cultural or people initiatives.

  • Of course… other fun duties as assigned.

    You Will Bring This to the Table

  • Ability to travel to regional locations approximately once per month for 2 - 3 days each.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related discipline is required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR; preferably 3 years performing a generalist role that includes advising leadership.

  • A well-rounded HR skillset; including knowledge of HR best practices, employee relations, talent management, employment law, and compensation and benefits.

  • Ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with team members at all levels and across all functions.

  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service and ability to enthusiastically represent the company’s core values, mission, history, and culture.

  • Excellent communication, listening, coaching, facilitation and conflict resolution skills

  • Attention to detail and capability to apply discretion and sound judgment in managing complex processes, decisions and handling sensitive information.

  • Ability to relate well to all types of people, inside and outside the organization.

  • Strong analytical skills; can frame up problems and create solutions.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and respond in a flexible manner to business needs or time-sensitive tasks as necessary. Able to shift between hands-on work to produce results and more complex, strategic discussions.

  • Experience within the construction, engineering, and/or manufacturing industries is a plus.
