La Petite Academy of Kansas City is Hiring a Team Lead! We are located at 9071 NE 81st Terrace Kansas City, MO 64158

As Team Lead, you will:
Train and mentor newly hired and existing employees.
Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school and conducting tours to showcase the school.
Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is safe, clean and organized
Implement the Company-provided curriculum by preparing lesson plans on a weekly basis.
Conduct regular classroom observations and assessments that reflect the interests of children in the classroom.
Use digital technology in the classroom, including the effective use of BrightWheel.
Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child.
Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent
Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
Experience coaching and training staff members
Associates degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA
Experience working in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom as well as creating educational lesson plans
