RHD Missouri provides supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. RHD Missouri specializes in providing true person-centered services to assist individuals in facilitating a meaningful and successful life in their communities.
The Training Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and evaluation of training solutions and courseware that support and advance the ongoing growth and development of employees within the RHD program. This is including, but not limited to, training delivery and facilitation, maintaining the latest training processes and procedures, tracking training status on courses for employees, maintenance of accurate documentation in employee training files, and assistance with the execution of corporate education initiatives. This position will also be responsible for administrative duties within the office to include but not limited to data entry, fiscal managment and office oversight.
Hours of work are typically 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. However, the Training Specialist must be flexible and available to work nights and weekends when necessary or asked to do so.
Essential Duties and Functions
Schedule and facilitate classes to train all personnel in program area.
Monitor and review the status of each employee s needs.
Maintain and update training tracking and provide to residential and vocational managers, directors, and other administrative personnel.
Coordinate with the Divisional Training Director to implement divisional training initiatives.
Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development for personnel.
Gather and maintain all updated confidentiality forms, drivers attestation forms, and driver's licenses.
Maintain trainer certifications.
Act as facilitator for Cornerstone training and applications for programs.
Register course completion with appropriate entities.
Prepare, maintain, and disseminate periodic reports for management.
Ensure classroom safety, comfort, and cleanliness.
Organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational material.
Identify, research, and confer any training needs to the Area Director, or respective management for curriculum improvement.
Maintain, schedule, and coordinate all outsourced training.
Notify and track any new staff no shows and rescheduling of missed training including communication between staff, residential or vocational managers, and directors.
Administration and submission on consumer personal spending logs, including reconsiliation of all spending for a consumer
New Hire orintation and submission of required documnetation to payroll department.
Facilitate NAFS funds delivery and reconciliation.
Answering phone calls and office management including purchasing office supplies and equipment.
Maintain personnel files, vendor files, lease files in a neat and orderly manner.
Assist the Area Director in carrying our administractive assignments relating to the program and site
Complete all other tasks as assigned by Area Director.
Associate's Degree and experience in a classroom/training environment required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
2 years experience providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting.
Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
Intermediate skill level in computer usage in various applications (MS Office applications, Meeting Planner, OKTA, Lawson, Internet).
