We are seeking top talent for an Instructional Design Consultant on the Retirement and Income Solutions Client Administration Defied Benefit team. In this role, you'll use your training and design knowledge with your strong project management skills to achieve outstanding results.

What can you expect?

The goals of the Instructional Design Consultants are challenging. But through challenge, comes growth and satisfaction. You will be working with several internal partners on a daily basis to:

  • Create, design, and implement training programs that drive results and support business strategy and initiatives within Retirement and Income Solutions.

  • Perform detailed gap and task analyses to assess training needs and develop learning opportunities/deliverables to meet those needs.

  • Assist with maintaining and revising current curriculum.


What does it take?

Skills required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 8 years’ experience.

  • 2+ years related work experience, which would include the following experience: Adult training/education experience, related classroom and/or 1:1 training, instructional and e-learning design, (ADDIE and/or SAM methodology).

  • Curriculum design experience is required.

Successful candidates will have the following:

  • Strong problem solving, decision-making, influencing and negotiation skills critical to position.

  • Ability to influence others positively to meet goals.

  • Actively engaged with all levels of the organization to reach training solutions for strategic goals.

  • Must have excellent planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, time management, decision-making, presentation and communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.

  • Must have ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Must be flexible and have the ability to effectively manage change in a dynamic environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience designing and developing online learning and using graphics to illustrate processes and concepts (ex: Brainshark, Captivate, Flash, Lectora)

  • Knowledge related to understanding various concepts and delivery methods to drive effective training.

  • Proven experience in Instructional Systems Design (ADDIE and/or SAM Methodology), and competency-based learning is preferred.
