As a Human Resources Quality Assurance & Excellence Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing the quality and performance of HR Operations processes, driving continuous improvement and process innovation. You will also ensure effective processes are implemented to support regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
In this role you will:
Monitor HR operational activities at regular intervals.
Make changes, as appropriate, to keep work relevant and efficient; eliminate unnecessary work.
Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COE) to define quality standards for HR processes and procedures.
Create and maintain documented processes and procedures in partnership with the Employee Resources team.
Validate process behavior through the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), policy and process flows.
Use the voice of our employee customers as inputs into improvement efforts and to validate successful implementation of changes.
Ensure appropriate process execution, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
Work with HR Analytics to develop metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that ensure operational excellence and employee satisfaction with the Employee Resources team.
Monitor KPIs and employee satisfaction surveys for deviations; discuss positive outcomes/focus areas with COEs and HR Operations managers.
Develop continuous improvement initiatives; lead data collection, time studies, audits, and other data analysis as part of continuous process improvement efforts.
Drive a culture of problem solving, continuous improvement and innovation with HR Operations team.
Provide support during external and internal audits.
What you bring to the table:
Four-year degree: Business, Mathematics, or related degree.
3 years or more related experience preferred in Shared Services, preferably in HR.
3 years or more of experience preferred in the field of quality management and operational excellence.
Lean/Six Sigma certification and knowledge of Agile Methodology preferred.
Knowledge of Shared Service Center processes and environment and HR processes.
Strong knowledge of quality management, processes and continuous process improvement. methodologies and process innovation techniques.
Knowledge of process redesign utilizing voice of the customer data.
Excellent oral, written, & cross-cultural communication skills.
Collaboration, influencing, and consultative skills.
Analytical thinking skills.
Proven track record of being able to deliver in a matrix organization.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple, competing priorities.
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
Ability to efficiently handle standard IT applications.
