Robinson Construction Human Resources Coordinator in Perryville, Missouri

Robinson Construction is a Design-Build General Contractor specializing in the completion of process-intense manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. Our clients include heavy industrial, manufacturing, food grade processing plants, chemical and processing, power and renewable energy, healthcare facilities, and mining industries, as well as federal, state, and municipal agencies.

Robinson Construction is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator. This position is responsible for the coordination of employee training, drug testing, background checks, etc. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitors employee job site changes and assigns employees training related tasks

  • Communicates with field personnel to ensure assignment understanding and assists with employee inquiries

  • Enrolls employees in training and monitors activities to ensure completion

  • Administers the new hire and random substance abuse program

  • Conducts employee background checks

  • Performs per diem and travel incentive audits

  • Obtains and records welding records

  • Performs data entry as needed

  • May perform duties of the HR Assistant or Training Coordinator in his/her absence

  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications/Experience/Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred

  • Previous experience in human resources preferred

  • Working knowledge of computers and software applications (including MS Office) required; previous database experience including applicant tracking, on-boarding systems and/or Access database experience preferred
