EDWARD JONES Learning Strategist in Saint Louis, Missouri

The position is responsible for working with the business areas and training departments in defining and developing learning strategies for their initiatives and programs. Key Responsibilities:Establish business consulting relationships with assigned stakeholder groups, and serve as ongoing contact for BLD for assigned business owner and stakeholder(s).Collect and consult on stakeholder business plans, focusing on branch team behaviors, performance metrics, and client outcomes needed for objective and strategy success. Consult, define and diagnose complex learning needs to support Edward Jones 5-year plan objectivesDesign and deliver behavior and competency based learning strategies to support Edward Jones 5-year plan objectivesCollaborate with other BLD Learning Strategists to propose efficient learning solutions that support business outcomes.When possible, align and combine efforts between stakeholder groups for efficient planning and execution. Provide these proposals to BLD Team Leaders for prioritization. Refer to appropriate organizations when business need is not a learning need or requires more research.Expected outputs: Draft CharterCreate program maps, project plans, and other standard project documents for prioritized learning initiatives.Lead instructional design teams in the production and maintenance of complex learning programs and deliverables, including the supervision of designer quality and process adherence in some cases. Oversee the health of assigned BLD programs.5-10 years in corporate learning, performance consultation, or enterprise HRMaster's Degree (or equivalent experience) in adult education or organizational psychologyAdvanced knowledge of assigned business partners' objectives, strategies and measuresAdvanced knowledge of BLD programs and design standardsProficient understanding of best practices in adult learningTraditional and emerging learning technologiesKnowledge of advanced learning experience design (ex. Instructional gaming, peer-to-peer, embedded performance support strategies, etc.)Knowledge of curriculum management and compliance requirements for branch-facing contentKnowledge of Edward Jones products, services, and tools used by branch teams to serve clientsPrinciples of user experienceSr. Qualifications in addition to the above, the Sr. Learning Strategist requires 7 years' experience, mentors other Learning Strategist, and contributes to the ongoing development of the team.
