WSP is currently initiating a search for a Temporary Landscape Architect for our St. Louis office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This candidate will work with our senior landscape architects to model, design and document our landscape architectural assignments
Candidate should expect to work on transit related projects including streetscapes and highway corridor landscapes and structure aesthetics, bus and rail stations; street and greenway bicycle/pedestrian facilities and various site specific landscapes
Candidate will be expected to assist in the preparation of planting plan conceptual designs and planting construction documents
Candidate will be expected to assist in the preparation of construction detailing of various landscape, paving and structure aesthetic features

Bachelor or Masters of Landscape Architecture Degree
Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience post graduation.
Basic proficiency in landscape architectural design
Basic proficiency with Autocad or MicrostationBasic proficiency with SketchUp or other visualization software
Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and proceduresProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Licensed Professional Landscape Architect
Prior experience working for an architectural or engineering firm
Desire and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary project team environment
