Job Description:



Job Summary: Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a School Based Clinician to work in collaboration with schools in Chariton County, Missouri.

Burrell works collaboratively with area schools to provide a system of referral, treatment and follow up to mental health services for students who demonstrate risk of academic, behavioral and/or mental health difficulties as evidenced by poor school performance, discipline problems, law enforcement involvement, substance abuse, and/or family mobility or distress.

What you’ll get to do:

*Provide prevention, intervention and support services to identified students in order to decrease barriers to academic success.

*Present in public forums educational material to promote community understanding of mental health and to enhance community response to mental health problems.

*Carry a regular caseload of clients whom you will serve in multiple school locations

*Participate in emergency services in order to provide rapid aid in cases of emotional crisis

Where you will work:

This role is based in Chariton County and serves the school districts of Marceline, Brunswick, Salisbury and Mendon.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree

Licensure as one of the following in the state of Missouri:Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor; PLPCLicensed Professional Counselor; LPCLicensed Master Social Worker; LMSWLicensed Clinical Social Worker; LCSWProvisionally Licensed Psychologist; PLPLicensed Psychologist; LP
