Position Summary

Responsible for implementing and facilitating best-in-class procurement processes and ensuring Integrated Supply Chain (Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations) are supported with the right training and tools to enhance colleague professional development and adding value to the organization.  Under the objective of building “best-in-class” capability, this position supports and implements the continuous education strategy as part of overall Integrated Supply Chain (ISC).  Supports colleagues who pursue relevant certifications and builds upon colleague competencies.  Drives process, technology adoption and compliance, where applicable.  Leads enhancement and implementation of function- specific learning and organizational development initiatives within the global function.  

Accountabilities

• Drives process and technology adoption and compliance where applicable.

• Ensures linkages to key certification programs for ISC professionals and develops recommendations for training modules by position level.

• Works with stakeholders and their respective managers to develop programs that complement on-going development plans.

• Supports the implementation of the function's global talent management strategy in partnership with enterprise Human Resources and the Talent Development function.

• Drives process adoption and leverages internal trainers to support learning and function-specific development initiatives. Will engage external resources as necessary and manage execution to lead to strong results.

Specific Accountabilities

• Influencing skills across functions to garner strong and wide support of capability and training agenda that are integrated with company and function's business strategy

• Collaborates and partners to insure alignment of initiatives

• Drives process for measuring and expressing the business impact of capability and training efforts

• Utilizes deep understanding of company to design best-in-class learning initiatives

• Ensures function has a full complement of business-relevant training and development programs, process and tools for all levels and aspects of the function

• Supports process for HR-owned succession planning and talent review, including high-potential assessment, identification and development

• Supports HR-led performance management process in order to capture and understand opportunities for function's colleague growth and development

• Sound knowledge on metrics, performance tracking, data integrity and process improvement methodologies

• Effective relationships with diverse constituencies

• Drive analysis, development and implementation in short and long-term horizons

• Knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques and evaluation methodologies

• Lead, sponsor and support multiple projects simultaneously with strong results

Required Skills and Experience

• 6-8 years of relevant work and of increasing responsibility

• Bachelor's degree required, in training, education, psychology, business management, or related field

• Excellent written and oral communications skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Sound knowledge on metrics, performance tracking, data integrity and process improvement methodologies

• Professional experience in global organizations highly preferred

• Operations, supply chain or procurement experience a plus

• Instructional design and current leading practices in blended learning methodologies a plus

• Leveraging of technology-based learning

• Strong facilitation and influencing skills to all levels of organization

• Comfortable in customizing solutions based on need

• Change management

• Dotted-line direct report in Asia (APAC) – Associate Manager of Capability & Training and Systems / Governance (located in Shanghai, China)

Work Environment

• Willing to travel domestically & globally (as needed) – less than 20% in total
