Essential Functions

The Division of Infectious Diseases at Washington University in St. Louis, MO is recruiting a postdoctoral research associate to participate in NIH-funded projects. Dr. Jennifer Philips' laboratory is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral associate to study host-pathogen interactions governing immune control of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (http://www.jenphilipslab.com/). In particular, we are looking for candidates with prior training in immunology or microbiology. Applicants should have a strong interest in tuberculosis, microbial pathogenesis, and innate immunity, but need not have worked in these areas previously.

Required Qualifications

The appointee has earned a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent terminal or doctoral degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to implement laboratory procedures, conduct research and records findings.

Salary Range

Base pay commensurate with experience.
