Training Specialist (Pharmacy Technician Certification Class) – All Ingenio Sites

This is an in office positions and candidates must be able to work in one of the following locations: Virginia Beach, VA; Mason, OH, St. Louis, MO, Savannah, GA., Las Vegas NV, Winston-Salem, NC, Atlanta, GA, Louisville, KY, Minneapolis, MN, Morristown, NJ, Wallingford, CT.

Responsible for creating and delivering a Pharmacy Technician Training Program for the IngenioRx PBM. Graduates of this class will be expected to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating the Pharmacy Technician training curriculum, keeping it updated as needed, work with PBM leaders to identify trainees, develop acceptable training class schedules, and facilitate the training.

  • Employs rapid course development methodologies to quickly meet client needs.

  • Must have experience training in a virtual environment.

  • Exercises classroom management including learner performance and escalates issues to PBM leadership and stakeholders when necessary.

  • Measures, tracks and evaluates learner and client satisfaction.

  • Thinks and acts globally and is aware of learning and cultural differences may which drive learner effectiveness.

  • Keeps technical skills updated.

Qualifications:

  • Requires BA/BS in related field; 3-5 years training experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Pharmacy (retail/mail/hospital) experienceand Certified Pharmacy Technician required.

  • Keeps technical skills updated and certification current and active.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically (may occur in consecutive weeks) required.

  • PTCB certification required.

  • Drug knowledge is strongly preferred

  • Able to design and present a curriculum

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Must be able to sit onsite in a selected Anthem office: Virginia Beach, VA; Mason, OH, St. Louis, MO, Savannah, GA., Las Vegas NV, Winston-Salem, NC, Atlanta, GA, Louisville, KY, Minneapolis, MN, Morristown, NJ, Wallingford, CT.
